What is your goal?
We go on in life. We complete tasks. We take care of our families. We fulfil our obligations. We are busy being busy.
But then I wonder. What is my goal? What is it I want to achieve in this short temporary life? I am not asking this from the egoic mind. I am asking compassionately, meaningfully and purposefully.
Many times we think we gotta satisfy others. We believe it is others who need to be happy and comfortable. But then that leaves you between brackets. What about you? Where do you stand in all this? What do you want? What fills you up? What drains your energy?
Coming back to yourself, your imagination and your needs and wants can be scary at the beginning. But taking the courage to do it can enable you to get to know your genuine and authentic self better.
I really like these questions I heard once from one of the YouTube speeches: Where did your 7 year old self go? What happened to you during that age? This can compassionately uplift the mental blind.
After doing this process, I can’t really guarentee you getting to know your goal. But at least it would be one baby step in your personal discovery journey to get to know yourself.
