Selling in the Hospital
With my 1st self-help book being published and printed, it happened during our stay in the hospital with my admitted son.
Because the book is so personal to me, I couldn’t help it but ask the printing company to ship me a box of 38 copies of my book, so I start selling in the hospital where I was with my son.
It is interesting to observe different reactions from people whom I talk with about my book.
Some showed increased enthusiasm and thrill about the ideas presented in the book. While others looked at me that strange and wired look that says: Who you think you are to sell your book here?!
The issue is when the thing you are selling is something so personal to you and you worked on it with your bare hands, you don’t hesitate to market it and talk about it wherever you are.
At the end, you know it is not for everyone. But it is for that one person who needs it, who shares similar interests and who seeks to get further practical information related to the topic.
