Golf in the Ward Lobby
We ordered online a golf set toy for my 4-year-old son. He was so excited upon hearing about the online order we did.
He walked all the way to the main entrance of the hospital and waited there for some time to receive his order.
When we got his parcel, he couldn’t wait any longer. We opened the box, and he started playing golf in the lobby of the ward.
Because of his over excitement and thrill playing with his new golf set toy, he was about to lose balance and fall behind. I was there right behind him and caught him.
The nurses watched him play, clapped for him and cheered happily.
A part of me was so happy and excited for him while another part was worried and scared that he might fall or hurt himself.
The doctors keep telling me not to worry and he is fine with all those metal fixtures installed in him. But honestly for me its not. I take extra care and precaution when walking and keep him away from any kind of risk or danger.
I don’t know if this is normal or not but as a mother, it is our deep instinct to protect our children and keep them safe especially during such critical and hard times.
