Not Sure What Will Happen!
There are those situations in life where you can’t just predict what can happen. It is like you are in a dark room and you are just lost searching for light.
It can be facing a sickness, trying different treatments and not getting a 100% answer.
I can’t forget those words when one of the doctors said: There is no short cuts here. This disease requires lots of patience. It is a long journey of going through treatments until you arrive the other side.
This is even more difficult when it is not you but your loved one who is facing it.
When I remember this difficult part of life we are facing with my 3 year old son’s scoliosis and kyphosis journey, I like to refer to the recites in the Holy Book of Quran when Allah told Moosa’s mother to let him go into the river when he was just a baby. At the same time, Allah also comforted her and told her not to worry or be sad because Moosa would come back to her.
This story shows how compassionate and kind Allah is. With all the tests and different situations in life we are being given, we are also comforted, supported, guided and accompanied in every step we take.
I pray for all the families who face such similar situations to hold on to hope and faith. Nothing in this world is given to you for no reason. There are always the wisdom and learning takeaways for us to gain. Those life events are there for us to grow, transform, get the big picture and change to the better version of ourselves.
