Hospital Routine for In-Patient
It is more than a week since my 4-year-old son got admitted in hospital for his spinal treatments.
With days passing by, I notice a daily routine happening in the hospital. It goes like this:
First thing in the morning, we wake up for Fajer prayer and having breakfast.
Second, every two hours I engage my son with daily exercises that the physiotherapist taught me like sitting, standing and walking if he accepts.
Third, we have our lunch early around 12.00 pm, pray Duhr and continue with movement exercises.
Fourth, we take a short nap before visiting time at 4.00 pm.
Fifth, throughout the schedule of having meals and doing exercises, my son is entertained with video games while I video chat my family.
At first, it was overwhelming and new. But later, we stick to the routine and now we got used to it.
