Healing and Recovering
When you are in so much pain, mentally, emotionally and physically, you refer back to your humanity and nature.
That is the time you shut down the external noise and stay grounded and still in your own skin.
It is not easy to stay calm and still in your body when you have got physical pain. But doing this process allows you to come together with your body as one. It gives you space and time to understand what your body needs to heal. It also detoxes your body from all that tensions and pressures that got built up from family and work obligations.
My personal preference in this context is using my private space and routine at home. When you dedicate a corner or separate space for your healing and recovery, you discipline yourself. You stay focused and consistent.
Some examples include resting, taking an evening short nap, having cosy meals with your loved ones, decluttering your space and maintaining your personal hygiene.
