Eid Al Fitter in Türkiye

We are used to celebrate Eid occasions in our country with our families. But sometimes, it happens that your individual circumstances require you to change your perspective for the moment and celebrate the Islamic occasion in another country.

For our situation, because my son had a spine surgery treatment in Türkiye during the last days of Ramadhan, now we are expecting to celebrate Eid here.

So what could be some of the activities we can do to celebrate?

First is to plan the places we would like to visit in the country like Uskudar Sahil, Beyoglu, Taksim, Grand Bazar, Sultan Ahmet and Florya Sahil.

Second is to dress up with the traditional outfits to cherish this holy occassion.

Third is test the traditional food of the country you are in.

Finally it is understandable that we miss our families and gatherings during such occasions. But to adopt ourselves and experience the occasion in a different place with different people can be a thrilling and adventurous experience too.
