Dream to become full-time parent!

With all the work and parenting responsibilities, don’t you think sometimes of becoming a full-time parent? Inside my heart and soul when on the way going to work, I have got this pull: What am I doing? Where am I going? Isn’t my real place to be at home with kids especially at such a young age?

With the industrial revolution and the lifestyle set-up where the cost of living is rising to the roof, both the parents are forced to work to accommodate the expenses and afford to live. But then with all that, still that thought is hunting me. What if our real role and place is to spend more time with our kids? What if there is a way to escape this industrial rat race if we just put our focus in the right place and time? What if our families matter more than the daily hectic work?

Trading our precious time, 7 to 9 hours daily, for an exchange of a one time monthly salary is like slavery. You are hooked to working that number of hours daily to receive that number once every month. Maybe some beleive it is a blessing. But at other times, it feels like loss. Loss of precious time to spend with our families. Loss of physical and mental energy where we come back home exhausted and burned out. Loss of personal meaning and purpose when your identity is shifting and changing.

You may comment: I gotta be responsible towards my family. I can’t dare to dream such scenarios. I have got expenses to cover every month. At the end, dreams are there to encourage us, to show us the way, to enlighten us, to tell us our truth and to direct us to the right place we better place our focus and energy.

Whatever is in your visual vision I believe is worth the chase. Don’t settle to whatever is in front of you. Don’t fit in like others. When majority around you are doing the same thing, it doesn’t mean you need to also do it. You can deviate. You can go to a different direction. You can take the required actions to move closer to your dream. Remember the baby step process. One baby step at a time. But consistent baby steps. You will fall. You might get hurt. You will do mistakes. But then you would wake up again. You will recover from the fall. And get back to taking your baby steps.

All the best making your dream a reality!
