Burned Out?
There are those moments when you just feel burned out, out of energy, tired and fatigued.
I see that time as a pause and break from the never ending cycle of workaholism. It allows us to stop and reflect on what we do and why we do it. It also gives us a chance to look at our life from a distance and mute the environmental noise for some time.
It can be tricky to trust our inner instincts and go inwards. Especially when we are culturally trained to suppress our feelings and focus on working and performing no matter what.
Whenever those myths cross your mind, remember this. Your body never lies. Whatever signals it sends to you, it has an important message and reminder. It brings you back to your senses. It forces you to pause and notice what is happening and reflect on it.
