A small accident in pediatric surgery ward

My son was getting his daily dressing on the bed.

When the nurse finished, I wanted to bring the bed into its previous position. But unexpectedly, the bed remote controller got stuck in between the bed bars which caused the wrong buttons to press bringing the bed into opposite positions.

The sleeping side of the bed going down and the opposite side going up. Both the nurse and I grabbed my son from the bed.

With all the sudden shock and fear that completely filled us, we noticed later that everything from the side table (food tray and water bottles) fell on the ground.

With my hands shaking and the nurse nervous, she requested me to calm down, let go of my son in her arms and shift the side table away from the bed so I can bring the bed into its right position.

I lost my apetite to eat at that time and I thanked Allah for protecting my son and everyone in that scary moment.
