A call for our humanity

What is happening to our humanity? Watching the news and what is happening in the world right now. People fighting and killing each other. Souls of thousands of humans being taken away. Reading articles and news of countries fighting because of either political or economic reasons.

Are we living life to prove our identity here? Do we exist to prove who we are in this world? The earth land we walk on daily, do we really own it? It is sad and painful to see humans killing each other like that.

The worst part is the silence that is taking place from the world while watching thousands of people being killed. What is this silence telling us? Are we scared? What are we protecting? When seeing precious humans die through aggressive killing, we are all apart of it. Its like we all are being killed too. Just like when Allah said in his Quran Book: “who killed a group of people, its just like you kill the whole world”. It brings a sense of loneliness knowing that if such an act happens in your country, you would be alone facing the trajectory and the world will just watch and wait.

May God help lift up this political and economic blind and help the world realize our humanity. We are humans. We are together and not against each other. We exist here to come together as one. We are not separated through the boundaries and labels given to our different countries. Although we are of different colours, nationalities, languages and genders but we are one as humans.
