What about us women?

When I think about us women, I like referring to the recites in the Holy Book of Quran and what Allah says about us.

Because what is happening in the modern society and with the industrial revolution, they all don’t make any sense.

We women are our men counterparts, our kids’ caretakers, our next generation raisers and the foundation pillars for the next millennia.

Then you hear people say: Men and women are equal. Women should take all the jobs like men. Equal opportunities for men and women.

With no offense, we need also to remember the nature of women, how we were created and what we are meant to do in life.

If we chase the cultural myths, we find kids attach to other things like their friends, social media and other distractions. Why? Because no one is at home to contain them, have conversations with them, ask them about their day and engage with them in their activities.

To be honest with you, it is really not about feeding your child healthy food, dressing them with stylish outfits or providing the entertainment platforms for them. It is actually something else we are missing.

So if you see yourself lost, distracted and not sure of your purpose and role in life, go back to the Holy Book of Quran. Read again the recites. Reflect and question your current values and beleifs.
