Waiting versus Taking action

We got used to the waiting behaviour. You can see it visible in many areas of life like your career, marriage, education, finances, parenting and other areas. It means you wait for some hero to come save you and take you out of the situation you are in. It means you give up your original human potential and you let the circumstances take charge.

The waiting behaviour didn’t come randomly. It has a background. Look at the education system for instance. You have to study for many years, graduate, get a job and then you are ready. That system sends a message: You are not ready. You have to wait. You have to follow what the system tells you to do. Otherwise you don’t conform and fit in. We beleived those messages. We took it in like our value.

Looking at the market and what is happening there. It doesn’t wait for you. It keeps moving and evolving. It gives away opportunities for the seekers, the initiative takers, the risk takers, the bold, the brave and the inspired individuals.

Don’t beleive whatever is in front of you. Question it. Evaluate it. Ask if it makes any sense to you. Look at it as an outsider and see if it works for you or against you. Then yourself will give you the truth whether waiting or taking action is right for you.

When we turn our heads to the taking action arena, it is an inspiring and empowering act. It means you don’t wait. You take full responsibility for your actions. You don’t depend on another human being to save you or solve your problems. You look at your problems objectively and scan for the possible actions you can take consistently to sort out your mess.

I don’t deny the areas in life where you need to pause and reflect. That is similar to you sensing loss in life and you are searching for meaning to live life again and move on. That is normal and requires us to stop for some time and reflect on our personal values and life philosophies.

However I am talking about the other areas in life which are clear and straightforward to you. You already got the message it tries to send to you. It already makes sense. It keeps sending the same message to you again and again. It whispers to you. It tells you: Listen. Look. We are here. We exist. The actions are available for you. Where are you going? What are you doing? Where are you escaping? The way is here. Just open your mind. Clear your mental lenses and focus. Have faith and beleive in yourself. You are not alone. We know you. We remember you. We understand you. We know what you are going through. And we are with you at all times.

I personally suffer with this dilemma between waiting and taking action. But when you look at your life as a school where you are tested and observed, you see that event in your life as a learning lesson. You learn from it instead of escaping it. You decide to take the wisdom gems from it. And you let it transform your life to the best version of yourself.
