Timeless Love

I remember this quote one person told me once: Love is timeless. It doesn’t have restrictions or limits of time, conditions or circumstances. It just exists. It is just there.

For a person who perceives love with specific expectations, it can be hard to digest this idea. Especially if you took on that perception for long time.

When I read the Holy Book of Quran, I realize that love is bigger and wider than what you currently think.

In several recites of the Holy Book, I notice also the gentleness, patience and chances given to humans to come back to Allah. No matter where you are and what you did, it is there, waiting, forgiving, accepting and loving with full of love, blessings and wisdom.

However, our human nature can affect a lot in this context. We get triggered. We complain. We judge. We blame. Then we forget the true essence of love. We take it seriously. We put it in tight and rigid mental boxes. Then we think we are right. We hold on to our specific world view and perspective.

Considering those factors, always keep a beginner mindset. Activate your learning. Open up your mind and heart. And ask the hard questions.
