The magic of journaling

Journaling is the habit of writing your thoughts, your feelings and your life stories in a journal or a notepad. It is a habit that allows you to release whatever mental overwhelm or pressure you are carrying. Also it clarifies the areas in which you sometimes witness stuckness or doubts.

Journaling is where you write your thoughts and what is happening in your life on 2 to 3 pages daily. It is an act that enables you to gain back your personal responsibility towards your thinking and your mental processing patterns. At the beginning of your journaling journey, you will notice repetitive patterns of thinking. Similar repetitive thoughts run through your mind where you would question yourself: What is the reason behind this repeating mental thought pattern? Why do I keep thinking of this particular person? Is this thought actually me or something happened in childhood that I keep repeating?

After that, gradually you would understand your intentions and motivations behind your thoughts. You realize the key influences in your life whether they are in the form of people or circumstances.

When the habit of journaling becomes ingrained in you like an automatic habit, you start understanding what is important in your life right now and what is not. You arrange your life stages according to priority and your human capacity. Then you realize you are human. You can’t do everything at once. You do what you can in the time available to you.

Finally, there are lots of magical results that happen during and after journaling. During writing your thoughts, there is a sense of relief and lightness. The mental weight becomes lighter because you already expressed it on paper. After journaling, throughout your day, you would remember the tasks you need to focus on and complete. Also you would be carrying on your tasks smoothly without stressing around or panicking.

Enjoy journaling and discovering yourself on paper.
