Lollipop in the Lobby

There is this moment I would like to share. You might think it’s silly. But to me it’s cute, adorable and precious.

When we (me and my 4-year-old son) were in the ward, a lady passed by and handed him two red lollipops.

I told him: Oh, you got lollipops. Can we share? He refused.

Then he requested to go walking downstairs. He took the lollipops with him. When we arrived downstairs near the main entrance of the hospital, he gave me the other lollipop.

I understood at that time that he intended to keep the lollipops for a time when we will be doing something together like walking and chatting.

It is interesting to watch your child act in a way that amazes you. Don’t think your child is too young or doesn’t understand. Grab these small chances to spend time with them and have funny conversations.
