From Employee to Investor
After reading so many books on investing, you start questioning. What do I wanna do with my life? Do I wanna continue working for money and follow the same repeating cycle?
What if I shift to the role of investing and start weaning out of the employee role, how would that be like?
The tricky part here is the habit of being an employee, waiting to be told what to do, expecting to receive the work schedule and workload and sticking to the old illusion of job security and safety.
I know it can be so comforting and familiar to stay in the same spot and habit. But the problem is when you know the reality of the situation and the truth behind money making, you realize you can’t just stand there, wait and pretend everything is fine. Because actually things are not really fine until you utilize your untapped potential and make things happen.
In such a context, the fear, worry and doubt can really cripple our action taking process. You probably wanna take action and start. But then you find yourself stuck in one place, not sure, doubtful, worried and thinking about all the negative what ifs.
Continue to reflect and watch this mental dilemma. Sometimes, the only way to break free is to become aware of it, watch it, observe it, understand its roots and eventually you would see the light end of the dark tunnel.
