Feeling Gloomy or Not in the Mood?
This is a common feeling that many experience. There are those moments when you are just not in a state to go out, socialize, meet others or do anything. There are those days when you just don’t want to do anything except sitting indoors.
That is normal. But what causes it? Is it the routine? The structured way of doing things? The familiar? Or what is it?
Well, we are humans with different feelings and states of mind. When we are excited, we get thrilled, active and eager to do the next right move. But when we are gloomy, we refuse to outreach or interact. We close off and isolate.
The problem with this approach to life is we become victims to our feelings. We surrender. We accept our feelings to control us. We allow our feelings to manipulate our actions and behaviours.
But what if we take full control of our actions and behaviours regardless of how we feel in the moment? What if we become in charge of our acts? What if we take action and go after what we really want whether we are scared, worried, excited or bored? What if we just do it and accept the fact that the feeling is there no matter what?
It is interesting to question what we do today and reflect on our feelings and thoughts. Probably in that process, you could find the key to break free and transform.
