Alone with my toddler abroad!

It is twice I travel alone with my 2 years old child. It can be scary and exciting at the same time for a mother to travel alone with her child.

The difficult part is when situations happen and you don’t know what to do in that moment. Things like hearing scary voices in the hotel room or running behind my child on the road with the baby stroller behind me.

But the best part is realizing you are not alone. A stranger in the plane who helped with fixing the baby stroller, a guy in the airport who carried the child while I go bring the luggage and a translator in the hospital who walks my child to the doctor’s room. All these moments confirm that although I was alone with my child, There were people around me ready to help and support without asking.

It is adventurous and thrilling to travel to a different country and witness their culture, lifestyle and taste their food. But better than that is when you see your child’s reaction too. How the child reacts towards strangers and helps me with adding sugar to my tea and mixing it with a spoon.
