A New Experience

In life, you get to cross through situations and enter new experiences.

Maybe you may feel anxiety, worry and nervousness. Probably thoughts like you are not enough, you are wrong, you will fail or you will get into trouble could float through your mind.

That is normal when you want to start a new venture, try a different hobby or start a new friendship. At the end, you brain has got a characteristic of protecting itself from danger. And if the new experience you want to start looks so unfamiliar, your brain could interpret that as danger and avoid it with all possible means.

But what about our human need to explore, discover, get curious about and grow? What about our inner need to get into the unknown, take bold risks, dare courageously and express fully our humanity?

Definitely those are totally different perspectives and approaches to life. We have them both but it is up to us to balance the use of them and appropriately engage them wherever and whenever we find is needed.

I perceive new experiences as a person’s gateway to break a routine, shake the status quo, challenge the society set-up and realize your truest potential in the moment. You can never know your creativity and what you are really capable of until you start the new experience.

Don’t get discouraged when people around you or the environment send you signals of depression, loss, lack or insignificance. This is your fight with yourself. Either you get comfortable with the uncomfortable or continue doing the routine and repetitive tasks all your life. That is your choice.
