What is your truth?

We live in a multi-thinking time zone. You see people think of themselves, think of what others think and think to manipulate others’ thoughts to fit their own.

This is an old myth that started several generations ago. In this context, it is interesting to pause for a minute and ask these questions: What is your truth? What do you want? What is important to you? If today was your last day living on this earth hotel (which could be by the way), what would you be doing?

Each one of us has a truth inside us. But maybe many times we hesitate to express it either because of the fear of upsetting someone, unresolved childhood issues, or missing the general big picture perspective.

What captured my attention when reading few pages of Quran today was when the tribe of Pharaoh (the magicians) beleived Moosa and told Pharaoh: They don’t care what he is gonna do to them. Because what Allah has remains and what Pharaoh does is only temporary.

This reminds us that whatever is in your thoughts from worry, tension, doubt, struggle, blame, complaint and judge, this is all temporary. However, what remains is up there. And for us is to realize it, understand it, recognise it and see it in our daily lives and experiences.
