The Impact of Affirmations!

Affirmations are statements we tell ourselves daily. If you don’t know or have no idea about it, check your internal talk. What do you tell yourself daily. If it is positive, cool. But unfortunately it is most of the time negative. You will find statements related to fear, doubt, hesitation, familiarity, laziness, sticking to comfort and avoiding change and transformation.

However, when you decide to open your mind and discover new affirmations for yourself, that is when you find your mind negotiating, explaining, getting curious and wondering. It is amazing when you work with your mind this way and understand its techniques and potential.

Interestingly, the mind accepts whatever it receives. It is like a sponge absorbs all the input you download there. But to make affirmations work best for you, you need to be patient and consistent.

For example, notice what area in your life where you notice your self-talk to be negative. There could be many examples here like your self-confidence, speech, importance level, career, relationships, learning and whatever other areas.

Once you spot those active areas, now get curious enough to explore what other better and new affirmations you may download into your mind. Let us say your self-confidence is very low. You are so scared and fearful. The environment and people get into you. You can’t dare to do anything or say a word. After you realize such internal dialogue, open your mind to read and find other better affirmations about self-confidence. You can do this by reading books related to the subject, listening to affirmation videos online or even crafting your own affirmations on paper. Whatever way works best for you.

When you do this practice, it is like you are training your mind to think and feel in ways that serve you best today. Your mind has great potential and it is meant to be utilized to the maximum. It has got so much creativity, inspiration, curiosity to learn, passion and wonder. Create the best environment that would allow it to flourish. Surround it with people who would challenge it and confront it. Stretch it with endurance and stamina. Don’t accept it as it is without change and transformation.
