The earth school

We learn subjects and attend classes in schools and colleges. We study and move on to higher status in the career ladder. But that is just one part of the earth life we live. What about the other parts?

Looking at our life on this earth from a big picture perspective, you realize that our life is not limited to just completing a course or getting a promotion or going for retirement. It is more than that.

I like the statement that Gary Zukav mentioned in his book, the seat of the soul, when he said: look at earth as a school. What are the different classes you currently take on the earth school. If you are struggling with anxiety, that is a class you are taking in the earth school and there is something precious you need to learn from it. If you are stuck in the past and struggling to move on and let it go, that is also another lesson you need to reflect from and learn in this earth school.

I remember this statement in the Quran book when Allah said: I created you here to test you and see your deeds and intentions behind your actions. This gives us a hint that we are being watched and observed from a higher divine place and that our existence here has a meaning and purpose.

Changing our perspectives towards life and looking at our existence here as something with deep meaning and purpose can fill us with hope, passion and drive to live life to the fullest and make the best out of every moment of our existence here.
