The Best Conversation
We love having conversations with our loved ones. We express our daily routines. We detail our plans. We share the stories and events we had throughout the day.
But there is that conversation that no human being can replace it. It is the one that deeply satisfies your emotional needs. It is the one that assures you, comforts you, fills you up and helps you in your recovery and healing.
That conversation is the one you often have in your private prayers and worshiping. It is very serene, grounding and peaceful. It can be painful at times when you are in the process of expressing your inner pain and difficult emotions. But when you are done, believe me or not, you become lighter and less heavy after that.
I find such conversations active in the asking from Allah and when reading the Holy Book of Quran. In those moments, amazingly you find yourself talked to, comforted, soothed, encouraged, inspired, uplifted, observed and lovingly accompanied.
Whenever you find yourself sad, frustrated, depressed or lonely, please prioritize this type of conversation. It goes deep to your inner needs. It understands exactly where you are at the moment. It recognises what you are going through. And best of all it is there available for you anytime whether you are at work, home or in your car.
