Morning Experience at the Beach

During the weekend, it is such a warm and meditative practice to spend time outdoors before the sun rise.

During that time, majority are sleeping. There is this special quietness and solitude. You get to focus and tap into that peace and relaxation mode.

My favourite place of all time is the beach. At morning dawn around 4:45 am, when you come here, there is this feeling you get to feel. I am not sure how to describe it. Is it calmness, comfort, ease, simplicity or abundance? I am not sure. But it is something that fills you up, releives you, accompanies you, supports you and makes you at ease and settled from inside.

The activities I like doing when coming to the beach are jogging / speed walking, sitting on the cold sand with my bare feet and hands touching the sand, writing my daily blog post and reading a book.

I noticed when you come to a place like here, it forces you to come back to your senses. Even if your mind wonders around and thinks of several things at the same time, spending time at the beach reminds you of your human existence. That you exist. That you are alive. Especially when you hear the sound of the sea waves, when you smell the unique aromatic smell of the sea breeze and watch the sun slowly and gently rising. All these bring you back to your footing. It balances your inner and outer experiences.

After spending time here and leaving it, that feeling still accompanies you. When you go along with your daily activities, you remember that comfort and ease. Even the struggles and stresses get buffered somehow because now you know that life is too abundant and rich to spend it in tensions and worries.
