Body and Mind Connection

There is this topic that really interests me. It is the body and mind connection. It means you can’t separate your body from the mind. Whatever is happening in you psychologically would straight away impact your body’s condition. And the other way round too.

It is so sad to witness contradictory life events in the society and the professional world today. Situations like a person’s addiction to work, the being so nice syndrome, the focus on illness conditions only and ignoring the mental health state. All these confirm the common stereotype which is: Your feelings don’t matter. Your psychological state is not relevant here. You have got to be responsible. You have duties and roles to fulfil and complete. Don’t be weak. Act strong and suppress those irrelevant feelings.

To challenge and question such common beliefs, it is important to read the mind and body connection books and gain the basic information. One of the books I highly recommend is: Heal Your Body by Louise Hay. She found out by experience that your mental and emotional worlds deeply affect the wellness and condition of your body. She also realized the healing of your body takes place when you go deep down your mental thoughts and emotions and do the processing work there.

I am still new and a beginner in learning this concept. But it is interesting to find out what is happening inside your body and how your mind triggers and affects your physiology status.
